The California Department of Health Care Services has awarded the contract for modification and upgrade of the California Outcome Measurement System Treatment application to xFusion Technologies.

The Behavioral Health Services Information System formerly the Drug and Alcohol Services Information System was developed to meet the statutory requirements for these data. BHSIS consists of the following four national data sets: Treatment Episode Data Sets, Inventory of Behavioral Health Services, National Survey of Substance Treatment Services, and National Mental Health Services Survey; which are maintained in collaboration with Single State Agencies and State Mental Health Authorities.

Majority of this data is currently collected through the CalOMS Tx application and then submitted to Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. However, there are additional data sets that need to be collected, for which the system will require modifications.

Basis of the previous experience that the company has on similar projects, the contract was awarded to xFusion Technologies.
